In machined alloy finish this valve will allow the release of gases efficiently between acceleration and gearchanges allowing the turbo vanes to keep spinning consistently as apposed to staling when air gets trapped in the system. This will inevitably cause less lag when acceleration resumes due to the stable operation of the turbo unit.
